CATCH OF THE MONTH
Jan Lee and I (Doug Lee), took our friend "Zero" for his first trip to the island. It was overcast so I knew the drum fishing would be good. I found a good spot towards the North end and it didn't take long. This was his first fish of the trip. The fish was released unharmed. Don't know the length but did weigh it at 30lbs. We caught quite a few nice drum this 4 day trip along with some nice black drum and sea mullet. Got to love that summertime fishing! Still miss fishing with my close friend Roho.
